Satellite TV

The Australian Government funds a free-to-air satellite service. VAST or Viewer Access Satellite Television. VAST provides digital television to viewers in remote areas of Australia where users are unable to receive digital TV through their normal TV antenna. This is usually due to local interference, terrain, or distance from the transmitter in their area.

To access VAST TV, you will need to install a VAST-certified satellite dish and a VAST UEC Decoder.

TV Antennas

Supply, Installation and Repairs

We all love our TV and have experienced the frustrations of poor tv signals in rural areas. A properly fitted and tuned antenna can allow you to enjoy free-to-air TV, sport and news.

Installing a TV antenna in a rural is not as straightforward as it might seem – numerous considerations need to be taken into account. To ensure the best possible reception, our team must assess the height, location and direction of the antenna, as well line of site to towers.

Once these factors have been determined, the team at Advance Communications will be able to install and tune your TV antenna for optimal reception. Depending on the signal quality, we may use tools such as an amplifier or booster.

If your antenna isn’t that old and you are experiencing reception issues, then we also offer a repair service.
